Описание: 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS "This 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS was introduced at the 1993 Detroit auto show; the new SS was essentially a Caprice LTZ with an exterior dress-up package and a Corvette-based iron-headed 5.7-liter/260-horse LT1 V-8. In a 1994 Motor Trend road test, the reborn Impala hustled to 60 mph in only 7.1 seconds and can do the standing quarter mile in just over 15 seconds and reach a top of over 140 mph, which ain't bad for a two ton sedan. Large brakes and attractive 17-inch rolling stock helped stop it from the same speed in just 120 feet. The 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS is fun car to drive, with its 17 original alloy wheels and to tame this beast, it has four-wheel ABS disc brakes, special suspension and Z-rated. The 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS has inspired an owners club keenly named NAISSO, there are many web sites devoted to the Impala, an aftermarket and many enthusiastic ramblings in the automotive press. All in all, the 96 Impala SS is lot of modern-day musclecar for the money.
